The story of Sejeta is one of resilience, family dedication, and a relentless pursuit of quality. Founded originally in 2013 under the name Samelina, our journey began with a simple focus: crafting premium, durable cardigans for schools and private clients.
As we grew, so did our vision. In 2019, we officially rebranded to Sejeta and expanded into athletic apparel — our very first sportswear order faced an unexpected hurdle when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and the client lost interest. But rather than slowing us down, that challenge pushed us to pivot, adapt, and keep perfecting our everyday wear.
When the world reopened post-pandemic, we took our business directly to the schools. Through hard work, consistency, and an uncompromising standard of quality, we earned the trust of educational institutions across the region, turning word-of-mouth recommendations into a thriving reputation.
A major turning point came in 2022 when we invested in our own industrial monogramming and embroidery technology. This milestone allowed us to bring customization entirely in-house, ensuring every logo, name, and design receives the precise, meticulous finish it deserves without relying on third parties.
Today, Sejeta is more than just a clothing brand — it is a true family and community effort. We owe our success to the unwavering support of my husband, my children — whom I have personally ensured learned every single facet of the craft — and our loyal staff members who have stood by us from the very beginning. Above all, we give glory to Almighty God, whose grace has guided us every step of the way to build what Sejeta is today.
